in the world there has always been the battle of good vs evil, but never before has it become so obvious. people in costumes dubbing themselves superheroes are starting to become more and more frequent in the world, and some have claimed to been there, helping you, for years. it's the start of a war against the insane, the evil and the powerful that are threatening the world. sides are being chosen. which one will you land on when the new 52 starts? join us for the reemerging of the dcu, inspired by the current reboot in progress!

a dark knight stood on the precipice of it all, staring down at his city from atop a gargoyle. he heard reports first, reports of harley quinn being caught, the joker fighting back at arkham, and then a troubling report of a meteor landing. days later, while he was fighting alongside his comrades, he heard of the superhuman man wrecking through metropolis and became worried. more and more, people were coming out to express their abilities -- hell, he had five or so that he could be blamed for existing in the world of superheroes. as with the world growing, so did the metahuman population, and teams started to form -- the justice leagues, the teen titans, the birds of prey, all set up to be there to help the everyday man, woman and child. but still, the dark knight waited in the dark, ever suspicious that what was coming could only have a darker ending.

GOTHAM CITY
the dark knight's city. it's typically your industrious megacity that is full of all the crazies that are there to go against the bat-family. it houses numerous banks, rich people, gargoyles and the infamous arkham asylum! they aren't quite aware that a dude in black is fighting crime, but after the red blur has made his appearance in metropolis, it's only a matter of time!


METROPOLIS
the day to gotham's night, it's your high tech city full of tall, mirrored skyscrapers, the daily planet and lex luthor. it was relatively normal until a superhuman showed up and started to fight crime by punching cars through buildings and other messes. lois lane was the first on the scene.


JUSTICE LEAGUE(S)
the justice league sticks around america to focus on the threats to the country, and the international justice league branches out to help the other continents. of course, when shit hits the fan they are all about teaming up to save the world hero style.


TEEN TITANS
with the children sidekicks of today's emerging heroes suddenly being targeted, they have formed a small group of their own dedicated to stopping the baddies. they're young, and still learning.


BIRDS OF PREY
formally head by oracle, but after the reemurgance of batgirl, the team took a hit and is now under the guidance of black canary. they are in the recruiting stages right now, and trying to get back on track.

Don't be an idiot, obviously. We will be looking at the following ways of an idiot: don't god mod, don't blur ooc/ic lines, don't play a mary sue/gary stu, don't make up stuff for another's character, don't copy stuff from other people, and don't start unnecessary drama. If you are seen attacking another person for not following your 'plot' or forcing said plot on them, then you will be spoken to. Show respect of your other players, and remember that this is game. Don't get butthurt if your character doesn't get friends easily, laid easily or is the most popular star in the sky. Activity is a key group, and while there is no set requirement for amount posted (though we will be removing every 3 weeks) we will be keeping an eye out for people's activity levels and if we feel that you aren't active enough, you will receive notification. There is also a set character limit of three.

Just play nice, folks. This is supposed to be fun.
